A beautifully characterful piece of mid-century British design, sourced second-hand in good, unrefurbished condition. Each chair carries the honest patina of a life well-lived — you can expect slight wear and/or minor marks consistent with age and use. The webbing is either in excellent original condition or has been recently replaced.

This chair is available in Ercol's warm Golden Dawn mid-wood tone, a honey-amber that brings natural warmth to any interior, and sits nicely alongside other teak or oak furniture of the period. The iconic Jubilee model — one of Ercol's most characterful designs, beloved for its upright, high-backed frame and elegant tapered legs that speak to a refined mid-century sensibility. They look lovely styled with a sheepskin, a large throw cushion and a cosy blanket draped over the arm.

• Chair only — the chair frame as sourced, ready for you to style as you wish.
• Chair + original cushions (free) — original cushions included free if you wish, subject to availability. We assess their condition on arrival and if suitable these are offered as-is for possible recovering. Please note: we take no responsibility for the fire retardancy of the existing foam, and we recommend consulting an upholsterer.
• Chair + modern seat pad — paired with a contemporary seat pad in a neutral fabric (not patterned as in the picture), finished with a zip for easy removal. Meets current UK fire retardancy standards.
